To access a WADS post diagnostic advice and signposting appointment, you will need to provide proof of diagnosis.
We recommend you provide your GP with this, if your GP has no record of diagnosis.
As part of the post diagnostic appointment we provide:
• 1:1 appointment to offer autism specific advice & signposting – WADS are unable to provide therapy or ongoing support
• Advice/signposting on community and social opportunities
• Advice/signposting about work, training or education
• Advice/signposting about other services and support available in the area
• Advice/signposting for carers and partners
