Local carers who support individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and/or autism were recently honoured at a special event organised by Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership (AWP) NHS Trust.

The innovative partnership between mental health, ambulance, police and social enterprise in the South West has been Highly Commended at a national patient safety event recently.

We are delighted to announce that Paul Miller, Non-Executive Director at Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board, has been named as the new Chair of Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.

The AWP Physiotherapy and Exercise Specialist Team organised a sports day for patients at the newly refurbished Larch facilities at Callington Road Hospital, with activities including cycling, running and circuits.
