Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) is providing new mental health information and resources to help local people get the support they need as quickly as possible.

These resources, developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals and service users, aim to provide accessible, practical guidance to help individuals manage their mental health and seek appropriate support when needed.

Mathew Page, Chief Operating Officer at AWP said: “We understand that mental health challenges can affect anyone at any time and the feedback we’ve received tells us that navigating the system to get the right support can be challenging sometimes. By providing these resources, we hope to empower individuals to take control of their wellbeing, access timely support, and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.”

The newly launched resources include:

  • Looking after your wellbeing
  • Need advice or someone to talk to
  • Urgent help and support

The resources are now available on our website here.

AWP provides healthcare for people with serious mental illness, learning disabilities and autism in inpatient and community-based settings. We service a population of around 1.8 million across Bath and North East Somerset (BaNES), Swindon and Wiltshire, and Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire.
