The BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) Talking Therapy service was at Bradford on Avon’s leisure centre to encourage people to open up about mental health and access support and resources last week.

The BSW Talking therapy service is run by Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust and provides support for people experiencing stress, anxiety or low mood. The service is FREE and confidential for people who live and/or has a registered GP in the BSW area.

Amy Schofield, Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner said: “There is sadly still stigma attached to mental health and we want to share what we do with our local community and raise awareness of the service. It is important that people know where to go to access support when they need it.”

You can self-refer to the service by calling Bath and North East Somerset on 01225 675150, Swindon on 01793 836836 or Wiltshire on 01380 731335.
