Construction has started on our new £20m Learning Disability and Autism Unit at Blackberry Hill in Bristol, scheduled to open in 2025.
The new unit will provide specialist mental health inpatient care for individuals with learning disabilities and autism when their needs can’t be met in a mainstream hospital or ward.
We are inviting you to suggest a name for the new Unit. It should reflect the nature theme which will be weaved throughout the building's design, and perhaps nod to the south west, and the area it will serve.
The name will give the Unit a distinct identity, helping establish it as a new, safe and modern service equipped to support local people for many years to come.
