This free, five-week course explores how we can manage our own emotional and mental wellbeing after the birth of a child. This is a taught course, run in a group format, so although there will be some group discussion it is up to you how much or how little you choose to take part.

This course will be running on:

  • Session 1: 9th of August, 10 - 11:30am
  • Session 2: 16th of August, 10 - 11:30am
  • Session 3: 23rd of August, 10 - 11:30am
  • Session 4: 30th of August, 10 - 11:30am
  • Session 5: 6th of September, 10 - 11:30am 

Topics covered include:

  • Coping with difficult thoughts and feelings
  • Setting goals and managing daily activities
  • Helpful ways to reduce stress
  • Useful techniques to communicate with others

Important information: This course will be run via Microsoft Teams. You will not need to download or pay for this. The link will be sent to you prior to the course, where you can enter as a guest. Clear instructions will be sent to you in advance.  You will need to provide an e-mail address and have internet access with a microphone and be in a private space.

This course is open to people who are registered with a GP in the Wiltshire area.
